Industrial Shredder and Machine Blade Applications
Release time: 2026-09-03
Industrial shredding and machine-knife requirements change with the material, contamination level and desired output. NJDETE supplies double-shaft shredders and industrial blades for plastic recycling, rubber and tire processing, wood and packaging waste, e-waste pretreatment and general industrial scrap.
Plastic and Packaging Waste
Films, bottles, pipes, pallets and production scrap behave differently during shredding. Film may wrap around shafts, while rigid plastics require sufficient cutter strength and controlled feeding. The machine and cutter configuration should be selected from actual material samples whenever possible.
Rubber, Tire and Mixed Industrial Scrap
High-impact or abrasive materials place greater loads on cutters, shafts and reducers. Buyers should identify steel contamination, feed size and operating hours before choosing a shredder or replacement blade material.
E-Waste and Sensitive Materials
Circuit boards, cables and electronic assemblies often require controlled pretreatment before downstream separation. Battery-containing waste requires a dedicated safety assessment, fire protection and process design; it should not be treated as ordinary mixed waste.
Information Required for Selection
Send material photos or samples, maximum feed dimensions, target output size, hourly throughput target, contaminants and power supply. NJDETE can then review the suitable machine model, cutter arrangement and testing requirements.
