Plastic recycling requires shredder machines and blades engineered for abrasive, contaminated and variable-density feedstock. NJDETE manufactures double-shaft shredders and replacement blades for PET bottles, HDPE drums, film, injection molding runners and mixed plastic waste.Machine selection: Film and lightweight scrap require different shredder configurations than rigid thick-section parts. The cutting chamber, blade thickness and screen size all affect regrind quality and throughput.Blade material: 9CrSi handles clean rigid runners.
